Meet Steven.

My biggest accidental success, this bright blue fire breathing grizzly bear was originally a three-second doodle I made while brainstorming with a director on my very first puppet design gig. He was immediately a smash hit and made it all the way to the fabrication stage with only a few small adjustments. Not only did he solidify my love for my craft, but he also became something of a local celebrity among my undergrad classmates. Something about those crazy eyes and buck teeth really seemed to charm the masses, and he even had a couple waves of stickers make their way around the department. When it came time to select my first professional logo, it felt like a no-brainer to pick Steven. He even represents three of my biggest passions: performing arts, puppets, and silly looking animals.
