A Streetcar Named Desire

Streetcar is a classic. I remember reading it in grade school and really enjoying it. My costume design class chose to design for this play as one of our larger projects for the class. This play is well within my comfort zone being set near my hometown in New Orleans and taking place in a decade I am very familiar with, the 1920s. Since this play is so inside my comfort zone, I decided to push myself to design characters with widely varying body types. I acknowledge that my success could be argued either way, but considering that I used croquis, I think I'm headed in the right direction.
