Blood
The blood unit in this class was a lot less about designing and creating our own blood and more about finding the best edible, washable prop blood recipe. We all picked different recipes and compared our homemade bloods to commercial bloods like Ben Nye and Spirit Halloween's prop blood. The recipe I chose was from instructables.com and was made from corn syrup, chocolate syrup, water, corn starch, Coffee Mate, and food coloring. According to my source, the Coffee Mate was what made it washable. This was a pretty solid washable and edible fake blood. It washed fairly well, but not completely out. The color and consistency (and taste!) was pretty good, though.
